Taekwondo Self-Defence

Self-defence applications are an important part of any martial arts curriculum. Taekwondo self-defense is known as hosinul and it forms one of the four main principles of the art. Realistic Taekwondo self-defense techniques would be difficult to score in sparring as they are designed primarily to cause injury or quickly incapacitate a dangerous adversary.

I hear about marital arts instructors who berate and humiliate students and make them cry, but bullying students isn't our style. Yes, self-control, self-discipline and respect are a big part of our program, but I believe in motivating and encouraging students to improve every day. Our instructors teach with respect, make classes fun and lead by example.

Stress relief: Kicking, punching and screaming are a great release, no matter what your age.
